Metal Gear Rising - Revengeance App Reviews

If you have an xbox one or PS4, get it for one of those, cause I had some issues getting it installed a few times. That being said, this game is the definition of an approachable high-action hack-and-slash kind of gameplay. I got my macbook pro in 2014, new, and (after some installation issues) it runs flawlessly, the graphics are unreal, the response time is fast, you’ll never find yourself fighting the camera, and load times are moderately short. The gamplay is fast-paced, detailed yet simple to understand, and will never leave you bored because you’re doing the same thing, as it likes to add in new methods of taking down your enemies, such as new moves, weapons, enemy approaches, and even button commands throughout the entire game, even to the end. Boss battles are the biggest highlight to this, as you approach and defeat every boss with a unique style of combat that keeps you on your toes, with the appropriate hardcore metal OST perfectly amplifying your experience. As far as being an installment of the metal gear solid series… it’s really not. It doesn’t have too intricate of a story, not many characters develop at all, kind of short, and stealth definitely takes a backseat to let action take the driver’s seat. it’s more of a little side chapter to the series, regarding story and gameplay as well. So it’s not a great metal gear solid game. But if you’re like me and judge a game apart from its predecessors, you won’t care. Overall, you’re doing yourself a disservice by not buying, or at lest taking a look at this game. It definitely doesn’t get as much praise as it deserves due to it’s relatively short story and lack of stealth. But if you want a good time nonetheless, this game will deliver.

It reminds me of Ninja Gaiden 3, my another favourite. However, compare to NG3 I feel that this game’s difficulty is much more well-tuned. Other than that, flawless graphics, engaging story, well portraited character natures… all these elements kept me playing like crazy. A controller and a headphone is recommended for the best gaming experience. Try it, it is a well-deserved 5 Star!

Nice game on PS, wanted to play on mac :( sad, but doesn’t even start in Mac OS X 10.10 DP8

I have been waiting to play this game for so long i never bought it for the last gen system and dont want to buy it for the systems. I am not a big computer gaming person but i finally moved from PC to completely everything Mac and i been learning alot on it i am a completely virgin when it comes to Mac. So i wanted to try some games on it and this is the first game play and it is amazing something more i can do with my Mac its have enough juice to run it smoothly which is very nice i dont like to upgrade my PC like crazy just to play games and the Mac does it job without crazy upgrades.

i bought this game this morning ,and it runs smothly on my mac pro , definitely worth the prize , one of the best game i have ever played . No crash or delay .

Downladed game this morning to 2013 iMac. Error message when you hit play.

The game looks great but when I press play it says an error and dose not load :(

This game defintely plays very well. The fighting is pretty smooth and action packed. Raiden kind of reminds me of Kakashi. The bosses and UG’s are pretty annoying to fight though. Also, the times where I have to run or die are also annoying. Why is my only weapon a sword? What about a pistol or rifle?

This game is very fun to play. Funny it says that the HD 4000 Graphics (Among others) are NOT supported but it runs very smooth and consistent while running everything on HIGH! This game has good graphics. I never thought i would be saying this, but it is worth the money if it works on your mac. Awsome!

This game is not runing on my Mac Pro, I get the "Error launching game” issue many people are being plauged with. I have been unsuccessful in finding a solution for this issue.

Bought and installed the game about two days after it was released to the app store, and I haven’t encountered a single problem with it. I finished it in about two days; it was a superb game! Probably not worth the full price, this game is better for being rented. It’s strictly linear, but has some good collectibles/unlockables with extra side missions to add in some more hours of gameplay. But, if you got $30 to spare, buy this and enough of that booze!

I just bought this game and have been already billed… I don’t know but for some reason when I click install nothing happens. iT WAS DOWNLOADING PERFECTLY SOME DAYS AGO THOUGH! IS THIS FROM APPLE OR THE GAME DEVELOPERS? I CAN’T SAY IF IT’S GREAT OR NOT BUT AS MUCH AS I KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM SOMEWHERE.

this is more of a movie than a video game, sorry…as one previous viewer stated it IS more of just luck as to who wins the battles…the camera moves on its own whether you like it or not…you don’t feel like you’re ‘playing’ the game, more like “Watching” it unfold…nope. no fun.

This game is truely amazing! The action is so awesome, theres not a ton of blood in it like you would see in other games. The music in this is also amazing, its a mixture between rock and electric. There are bosses you get to face and the feeling of slicing them up with blade mode is incredible! I rate this game 5 stars no doubt about it!
