I have a 21.5-inch iMac, Late 2012, 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GT 650M 512 MB, 1 TB Fusion Drive, running 10.10 Suit up for some high-speed sword slicing action in this, part epic movie, part unrelenting journey through a futuristic cyborg dominated Valhalla. EYES Even the lowest level graphics are spectacular but crank up the resolution and max out the advanced visual effects and you’ll be blown away by the stunning character design and animation. Just watching your hero dash around and melee everything in sight is mesmerizing. The entire world is destructible - gates, doors, trees, enemies, everything. Carving through an iron barricade and watching the pieces realistically fall to the ground is supremely satisfying. The above screenshot of the cop car getting chopped in half — that is what the game actually looks like — it’s incredible! For those looking to customize, yes, there are multiple gear sets and weapons to choose from. If you’re looking to compare, my system runs this game very smoothly at 1920 x 1080 with all the eye candy turned on and up. EARS The intense rock music helps get your heart pumping for each herculean fight scene. The voice acting fits right in with the game’s style. Subtle references add a light and humorous feel to the otherwise serious nature of the quests. HANDS Mastering the controls will require a bit of time. I kept hitting the wrong keys and found the button mapping slightly annoying but after hours of punishing practice I finally found the groove. Once you get the key presses down the game jumps way up on the fun scale. Youll be able to quickly sprint to enemies and fluidly switch between fighting, parrying, and dodging. You’ll begin to love blade mode and know when and how to use it. You’ll start to really decide if you just want to go crazy and button mash or slow down and aim the sword cut angle at, for example, the enemys arm to retrieve and sell it for in-game extras. The auto-camera will begin to feel better (positioned more correctly and less frustrating) as you become more precise when moving around. You’ll hardly even have to worry at all about manually rotating the camera with the mouse during fighting. WARNING TO PARENTS This game is savagely violent. Another review said it isn’t bloody but they must’ve not played past the first minute. Whether it’s through the many in-game cinematics or just normal gameplay there are tons of bodies getting sliced in half and I mean, like that cop car, actually in half. You cannot get through this game without murderously dismembering hundreds of enemies. There’s a small amout of explicit language but no nudity. SUMMARY If you’re looking for a fast-paced, high energy, slice-em-up style experience with visuals akin to Crysis 3 and surprisingly deep story along the way — this is the game for you!

I bought this while it was on sale, and it’s working just fine on my unsupported MBP 2011 with Intel HD3000 graphics card. Great game, pretty fluid action, but the camera can be bit difficult at times. However, this is one of the best games I’ve played in a while, and is a must-buy for anybody looking for a good action game.

simply wont install… 0/10 literally cant play. gets to about 5 gigs then just gives me an error every time, but with no further explanation than to start the download over. no other apps do this or have ever done this, paid or free.

Download button stuck at resume. Yosemite completely updated, brand new 2014 27” iMac. Won’t install at all.

as i just beat the first metal gear at the begining of game and when i start chasing the guy he freezes but he is stil moving in place. The game is working fine but that one character freezes in place but still in motion

The game works fine with keyboard and mouse, but does not work with Xbox One controller connected via USB, as stated.

This game does not work. I bought it when it came out, and it worked. Now it does not. I have a brand new pro series iMac. I love the metal gear games, and I am extreeemly dissapoontet that this games DOES NOT WORK. I tried to contact customer service, but they will not answer. Waisted $30 for a game that DOES NOT WORK

I had bought this game when it first came out, then I updated to OSX Yosemite and it just stopped working. Would not open. I contacted customer support since this app has not been updated in a while and I got no response from them. So I ended up unistalling the app then reinstalling it again and it works perfectly fine!!! I am running this on a Mid 2011 iMac, 27-inch, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 wih 12GB ram and it works flawlessly.

The graphics is great, and it’s totally playable on a mid 2014 13 inch mac book pro. But the camera in the game seemes to be working wrong. I’m forced to look down at my character
